Incidental Wear Course 

Delegates who successfully complete this course will be awarded 42 hours Verifiable CPD 

Aims:

To update course delegates on modern strategies for the diagnosis and management of tooth wear

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

1. Comprehensively assess a patient with tooth wear, including taking relevant records

2. ⁠Diagnose tooth wear aetiology

3. Appropriately prescribe preventative or restorative management

4. Understand relevant occlusal principles

5. Understand analogue and digital planning approaches based on facially generated concepts

6. Demonstrate additive wax-up planning

7. Select an appropriate technique to obtain inter-occlusal space for restoration where required

8. Critique, choose and demonstrate the various additive restorative options and transfer techniques

9. Demonstrate model equilibration
