Incidental Indirect Course 

Delegates who successfully complete this course will be awarded 21 hours Verifiable CPD 

Aims:

To update course delegates on modern strategies for the indirect restoration of individual teeth in line with the best evidence, materials and equipment

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

1)    Discuss the main indications for indirect restorations, cusp coverage and the relative benefits of an adhesive or conventional approach to indirect restorations.

2)    Demonstrate the most common indirect tooth preparations for a variety of materials

3)    Choose and employ a suitable indirect material and preparation strategy for a wide variety of common clinical scenarios.

4)    Demonstrate an evidence based approach to both conventional and adhesive cementation of indirect restorations.

5)   Discuss the requirements for good records to allow correct laboratory manufacture of indirect restorations.

6) Choose appropriate digital or analogue techniques for producing laboratory records.
